About The Dinner
The Davenant Institute is excited to host its second annual Bay Area Dinner on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 6-9pm. Join us at this beautiful venue for a reception and formal dinner with a keynote address from Davenant President Dr. Brad Littlejohn, “On Naming the World: A Protestant Vision for Christian Education.”
Adam’s first task was to name God’s creatures, and our calling remains the same. Dr. Littlejohn will explore the glory and joy of our vocation to name the world rightly and to take dominion over it. It is the task of classical and Christian education to equip the next generation for this kingly work.
For the past decade, Davenant has been on the cutting edge of contemporary Protestant thought, and our community has exploded as the vision of renewing wisdom for the church by returning to the sources has spread throughout the U.S. and abroad. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the growing Davenant community and to learn more about the many resources Davenant offers parents, educators, and anyone working to revitalize Christian education in America.
